Account Deletion

This page explains how PilotEstate users can request account deletion or ask for specific personal data to be deleted.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

PilotEstate lets users request account deletion from inside the app or by contacting support.

Some payment, accounting, security, legal, and estate-operation records may be retained where required by law, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate estate administration.

1. How to Delete Your PilotEstate Account

If you can sign in to PilotEstate, open Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm the request with your password. This removes your account access and starts deletion of eligible account data.

If you cannot sign in, email support@pilotestate.com with the subject "Delete my PilotEstate account". Include the email address or phone number on your account, your estate name if applicable, and a short statement that you want your account deleted.

We may ask for additional information to verify that you are the account owner before completing the request.

2. Request Deletion of Specific Data Without Deleting Your Account

You may also request deletion or correction of specific personal data without deleting your whole account. Email support@pilotestate.com with the subject "PilotEstate data deletion request" and describe the data you want deleted.

If the data is controlled by an estate, residents association, facility manager, or other organization using PilotEstate, we may need to route the request to that estate administrator or work with them before deleting or changing the data.

3. Data We Delete or Deactivate

  • Your PilotEstate login access and active account profile, where deletion is approved.
  • Saved mobile device tokens and push notification registrations associated with your account.
  • Editable profile details that are no longer needed to provide the service, respond to your request, or meet legal obligations.
  • Support messages or contact records that are not required for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute, or accounting purposes.

4. Data We May Keep

Some records may need to be retained after account deletion. This can include dues, wallet, payment, payout, receipt, accounting, tax, audit, fraud-prevention, security, gate access, issue-report, notice, and estate-administration records.

We keep these records only where needed to comply with law, maintain financial records, prevent fraud or misuse, resolve disputes, protect users and estates, or support lawful estate operations.

Payment and accounting records may be retained for up to seven years or longer where required by law or an active dispute. Security, audit, visitor, and estate-operation records may be retained according to legal need, estate configuration, or the instructions of the estate that controls the data.

5. Timing and Confirmation

We aim to review deletion requests promptly after verification. Some requests may take longer where we need to verify identity, coordinate with an estate administrator, preserve required records, or comply with legal obligations.

After the request is processed, we will confirm the outcome using the email address associated with the request where practicable.

6. Contact

For account deletion, data deletion, privacy questions, or appeal of a deletion decision, contact support@pilotestate.com.
